Question - Orchid Board

Has anyone ever tried to use the rooting powder that they sell at Walmart. I think it's called HORMEX (or something like that

). People have asked me about it but I've never tried it on orchids before

I haven't, but I've thought about it too. Are you thinking of trying to root a cutting, or just use as a fertilizer addition?

i just read a thread and the person said that they used it, but so far, no progress. i believe that ray said that it might be too strong and that it is intended for shrubs and cuttings, not for regrowth. so, to repeat Royal, cuttings or regrowth?

Yes, it was me. The brand is called Schultz and it comes in a little jar of 2 oz. I have tried it with no results. Now I really wanna get KLN.

I know Ray sells KLN, but I also typed in a search for my town and found that a bonsai store sells it down the street from me.

). I'll just go with the rest of you and stick to KLN

That's the line I tell everyone. When someone comes into the store and they can not remember the name, KLN, then they ask for that stuff that puts roots on a shovel. I certainly believe that it's true and that's the part that people remember.
