Default Dend with black spots and yellow leaf

Hi everyone,
I have another question about my new dendrobium. I had posted a question a few weeks ago, about the yellowing leaves on the main plant, the one that is currently in bloom, and those leaves eventually fell off, and I thought great, its happy in my home now. But now on another stalk the bottom leaf is turning yellow and has awful looking black spots on it. Is this normal? It looks diseased, but then the other leaves look green and healthy. Any info would be great! Thanks!

Here is a pic of the whole plant

And here is the hideous leaf

You know, I think they just do this. . .we'll let the experts confirm but mine is doing the same thing.

I have otherwise good new growth, good roots etc, but am losing a few leaves on the older growths.

This is what I do not like about Dendrobiums. . .I don't know what's happening. I don't know when we're in trouble or not. lol

They eventually do this with the older leaves. If the plant looks healthy and the roots are fine then it's ok.
It's just a normal process.

Forgot to ask: what's the name of that beauty? It looks a lot like one I have.

I got a Den hybrid last week that's now doing the same thing. It's losing its leaves on one of the growths. Black spots with yellow leaves. I figured the plant was acclimating to the new growing environment.

Chubidubi: i'm not sure the name of it...it just says Dendrobium "ruby red" on the tag it came with.

Ok so I guess i'll hope this is normal, 2 leaves allready fell off, but they didn't have these black spots, thats why i'm more concerned, but i'll wait and see.
Thanks everyone!

Yup, it's pretty normal to see many dens do this. I feel aslong as the roots look plump and healthy and yer seeing new growth, I wouldn't worry.

If your not seeing this above, check the roots and look into the lighting ... is this plant getting enough?
Leaves will yellow and fall off too.
