moving orchids outside--light/humidity how to?

I think it is warm enough here (Portland OR) to be able to move many of my orchids outside for the summer. Last year I kept them all on the porch, which I think was way too shady for most of them. So I want to do better this year.
So, my Questions:
Re: light: I have some places that get deeper shade all day, bright shade all day, some with morning sun, some with full sun. Which types of orchids would go where?

Re: humidity: over the winter, I have kept most of them either in the bathroom, on trays of gravel with water inamidst the gravel (water not touching or barely touching the plant pot bottom) or under florescents, again with the same humidity set up. Plus I have about 5 that are mounted on cork, that hang from hooks in the bathroom. Is sitting on the water + gravel trays outside going to be enough humidity for them? I do have one of those little pseudo-greenhouses: plastic tent sort of thing over 4 shelves. For the ones that don't need full sun (which I would assume would burn up with the plastic) Would putting them in those tents allow more humidity buildup??

Even if any of your collection has the possibility of being able to take full sun or the morning sun you would have to slowly acclimate them to the high light. What all do you grow? Depending on what and how many plants you have it may be time to build a shadehouse!
For the humidity I can't really help you there! I live a few miles from the ocean.

I probably wasn't clear in my initial post: I have sort of blundered into this orchid thing, so instead of focusing with one type of orchid, I have a few of these and some of those: dendrobiums, phalaenopsis, maxillaria, oncidium, paphs, and various and sundry others of other types.

Humidity trays are of questionable benefit indoors, but will be totally worthless outdoors. Think about it, you will be trying to humidify the entire atmosphere!

The advice to transition the plants to brighter light is a good one, so use it.

Going from dark to bright, I would say phal, paph, max, onc, and den, but what you really should do is read culture sheets for them (I have the AOS ones on my website, and they're here somewhere), and go to orchidspecies.com and try to get an idea of the needs of the plnats that way.
