Default Shopping spree time

Pop Quiz--

You have this list:

http://www.orchidweb.com/plt_spk.asp

And you may purchase 2 plants (excluding the $10,000 besseae). No cold growers or anything overly diffficult/suicidal.

What do you do, what do you do?

(answer quickly, as I'm probably placing my order tomorrow)

seems like you're not being helpful!

they're expensive because they're in spike presently. seriously, don't look at the prices, just pick two. it's not that hard, is it????

wifey's dearests picks are Beallara Marfitch 'Howard's Dream' AM/AOS and Paph. bellatulum ('Dalmation' x 'Dr. Spot')...but we'll see.

I probably have a Bllra Marfitch that I could give you for free... If I don't, somebody does, they are everywhere. Don't pay a premium for something that common. Get something from them that you can't get elsewhere.

well if you're giving plants away I won't complain! what would you recommend from the list that's a little less common, without being overly expensive or difficult to grow?

I don't know if I have one (I used to have lots and have been giving them away as they bloom), but I'll put your name on one if I find it.

I'd go with the Bulbophyllum carunculatum or any of the dendrobium species. And a paph. They have lots of nice ones.
