I must thin my orchid collection to make room for more. These 6 must go. Take all or none.

As you can see, 3 of the 6 have flat mite damage on the older leaves. New foliage has no damage. (I had a flat mite infestation last year but it has been eradicated.) However, PLEASE sanitize these prior to introducing them into your collection.)

Good luck. From talking to orchid vendors, most people find digbyana fails to thrive. I've been told it's incredibly slow to get to flowering size, but then it speeds up a little.

Tried to send a PM but settings tells me you aren't accepting them. Can you tell be about 'Volcano Princess'? I have a 'Volcano Queen' that hasn't reached blooming size and should stay pretty small. I yours a small plant? I don't have room for larger ones.

Hello Dusty - I did not receive a PM from you. Not sure what the problem is. Looked at my settings & not sure how to fix it.

#149c - Catt Blc Larry Nishikawa ‘Volcano Princess’ will be a big girl (now 17" tall). She is a division from Mother#149 which is 18" tall and is filling an 8" pot. I wish I had taken a pic of #149 bloom - but here is my description on the care sheet: "01/14/23 - OMG large frilly medium lavender bloom w/darker frilly lip!"

She is a beauty, but just as you say, not enough room!

I think I found the spot to enable messaging... from the main screen go to "User CP". Select "Edit Options". Scroll down a bit, you'll see "Private Messaging". Make sure "Enable Private Messaging" is checked. Go down a bit and you can also make sure that "Recieve email notification" and "Show New Message Notification Pop Up" are checked, also "Save a copy of sent messages" .

Please don't throw away the digbyanas! I would love to take them if no one else wants to! I have several that are doing really well for me, so perhaps it will change its attitude.

Louis W - Unless I get an offer for the entire bunch by midnight Apr 3rd, the digbyanas are yours! Postage from Huntsville, AL shouldn't be much since they are seedlings. The rest will go in the bin. Thanks!!
