I’d gotten this NOID Oncidium sweet-sugar-looking thing from the hardware store back in March in order to practice mounting Oncidium types. Normally I like the challenge and reward of mounting bare-root, but I figured I would leave this plant in the moss and fine bark mix it came with and I just tied it to the tree and kept it watered.
It had just started blooming on the new growth it created while in the tree, but unfortunately a hurricane blew all of the media away from the root zone—it’s just flopping around in the breeze and living off the pseudobulbs and the water I spray it with now. My perfect pseudobulb that was just as big as any of the older ones is getting its first wrinkles
Could I just put this into a container with the appropriate media and call it a day?
Thanks in advance!
