I have a Den kingianum 'Gordon's Red' in full bloom.
The spike was well developed in mid August, first bloom opened 4 September.
One of my delicatum plants is in bloom too so its definitely the time for blooms down here.
I live in Victor Harbor, South Australia

The climate is near identical, but the seasons are reversed. Kinganium and nobile have no indication of blooming any time soon, it's just the patricia.

Well, you bought the kingianum at the same time as the patricia hybrid - species do tend to be more fussy and sensitive, so there are other reasons for it to perhaps not make a move to flower.

The simple fact is that it's too early to conjucture about what their growing rhythm may be for you. If your climate is near identical to their natural growing climate, I'd be interested to see if all your Australian dens decide to bloom this time next year.

I will post an update with a picture when it's impossible to guess wrong, ie when it develops a bit.

In terms of greenery, kinganium did slightly better, making some new leaves on older canes as well as new canes, whereat patricia only made canes. Then again, it does seem to have fewer leaves on each compared to kinganium, on average. No idea if that is normal or not, but i am quite content with how much they have grown. And i am very likely to make a post once spring time starts to come around and things beggin blooming or fail to do so.
