To Fertilize or Not?

Don't we also excrete nitrogen as uric acid? I thought too much uric acid causes it to crystallize in the joints = a gout attack.

On the subreddit about composting, they are often referring to peeing on the compost pile to get it started. Just thought you could add this to your growing knowledge bank.
