Again wow, thank you. I really did not know that I shouldn’t give the Nobile fertiliser through winter. Everywhere I have read, it’s advised to fertilise every 4 waters. Are you saying that I shouldn’t give the bloom feed one from now on? To be honest it’s a pain having all different ones as well as expensive. That’s a really good point that they don’t get fertilised in the wild. I didn’t really think of that. What are your opinions on misting the leaves? Is that necessary? I also will give half teaspoon in future instead of the one they recommended to give. When you say kekis give baby plants and not blooms what do you mean? Sorry I really don’t understand as people get excited when they have kekis so I thought that was a good thing? Sorry for all the questions.
Mistking
Looking for a misting system? Look no further. Automated misting systems from MistKing are used by multitude of plant enthusiasts and are perfect for Orchids. Systems feature run dry pumps, ZipDrip valve, adjustable black nozzles, per second control! Automatically mist one growing shelf or a greenhouse full of Orchids.
Spraying the leaves won't do anything useful. Orchids take in water from their roots, pretty much exclusively. And it doesn't do anything for the humidity beyond a few minutes. So unless it is very hot (where it might have a slight cooling effect) not worth the trouble.
So-called "bloom booster" fertilizer doesn't boost blooms. Just not useful. (Excess nitrogen can reduce blooming, but the easy solution to that problem is just use less or in winter none).
as far as keikis go, nice up to a point (a bonus) but how many do you need? I think you really want flowers... they're prettier.
As for questions, keep on asking! A good way to learn, and you have the benefit of collectively, years of experience - and we love to share!
