Phals. are among those orchids that can grow and be fertilized all year. In general they desire warm to hot temperatures, low light and regular watering. If the medium has large air spaces they can stay moist, and there is no worry of overwatering.
Most of the time with a Phal. people think the problem is overwatering, but it is usually a combination of temperatures too low and not enough air at the roots.

Ahhh that makes so much sense so I can just pretty much fertilize weekly with about 100 ppm of N dosing and be fine all year round.
My medium is a mixture of bark, sphagnum and some perlite. I added a bit more of sphagnum since here in Spain it gets very hot so I wanted try and not have to water every few days. Hope that's fine
