I say I’m stopping at twenty. I have had to manipulate my numbers a bit…..two snake plants count as one plant, and two orchids count as one plant. That gave me room for a Calla Lily, and a Pony Tail Palm, that I couldn’t resist! Number is at twenty!!,🤣🤣🤣

Tell yourself you'll only buy enough plants for twenty rooms.

Oh Roberta, I can give all kinds of advice for setting limits. Tip#23 If it's hanging it doesn't count. ![Big Grin](http://www.orchidboard.com/community/images/smilies/new/biggrin2.gif)

Do you know the “10 000-hour rule”?
The key to achieving true expertise in any skill is simply a matter of practicing in the correct way, for at least 10 000 hours.
I think we can extrapolate this to the orchid hobbie. ![Wink](http://www.orchidboard.com/community/images/smilies/icon_wink.gif)

No no no.
Lots of houseplants increase the humidity in your house.
Houseplants are GOOD for your orchids. ![Big Grin](http://www.orchidboard.com/community/images/smilies/new/biggrin2.gif)
