These two shouldn't be alive (trichocentrum stacyi, paraphalaenopsis)
These two are suppose to be warm grower that I've been ignoring for the past 3 months are somehow alive through the low 40s. I bought them because me dad really wanted them, but I couldn't fit them anywhere. I had to no choice but to pot them up and it was a painful process with upside down orchids. Now I don't know what to do with them, should I treat them like cattleya watering?
Those look great. It is amazing that they tolerated the cold. Fortunately, orchids don't read. Actually, Trt. stacyi comes from far enough south (Peru) so that the 400 m elevation may still experience cool night temperatures.
I'd water a bit more than a Catt, more like an Oncidium. The Paraphalaenopsis is in the Vandaceous group. Trichocentrum is an Oncidium. They will dry quickly.
