I was gifted a large Cymbidium a couple of years ago. The lady who gave it to me was unable to get it to bloom. Happily it produced 6 spikes for me this year! Unhappily all but two partial spikes snapped off in the process of moving into a new house.
So, my question is whether it will bloom again from old psuedobulbs. Whether individual psuedobulbs bloom more than once.
Like every generalization about orchids, there are exceptions... Cym. suave does bloom off old pseudobulbs, as I recall. (An outlier on several counts) But in general (99% of plants), indeed they don't. But the existing p-bulbs make more p-bulbs, so next year... clearly you have found conditions to make it happy.
