Most of the time for orchids, it seems that rooting hormones are used as liquid supplements to fertilizers, not as powders. I'd also suggest checking the label, as the last powder I saw was many times stronger than stuff like K-L-N or SuperThrive, as they are really intended for use on "woody stock", not tender plants like orchids.

All that said, I don't know that it would be bad, but I'd be cautious.

My guess is that if you barely nestled that pseudobulb into some moist perlite or something, it will grow roots as those new growths get larger.

Thank you, I hope for a new plant

The ingredients:

Indole-3-butyric acid 0.10%
Inert ingredients 99.90%

And you are right, this is for "woody stock" (Azaleas, HYdrangea) I was more thinking about the plants ph negative lovers, not about the tender,( I'm to new in this )
This is what I do with my small plant:

no, it's a small part from Oncidium ( I discover root rot on my oncidium few days after I bought it, thanks to this forum, I check the roots and I cut the bad part of the roots and this small part, and the big plant ok now and have a lot of new roots)

an other question: I bought a new Cymbidium and, the same how I read here, the leafs are so dark green colored ( low light from store, I was to sorry for this plant and was just $13 ), it's ok if I will lets this outdoor in this location (see the picture ) from now? Is east exposure and @ 12:00 the sun is not there anymore , but in the night the temperature will go down to 43 , is to low? (I ask this for phalaenopsis and oncidium to)

sorry for my bad english( with this maibe I wil improve my writing )

Those are roots starting to grow. That rooting hormone worked.
