It looks to me like mostly mechanical damage - those plants had a rough life for awhile. Dehydration might have been a factor too, causing leaves to be stunted and not develop properly. As long as new growth looks good (responding to good care) , they likely will be fine. In time, the damaged leaves will drop once there are enough good ones. In the meantime, they're contributing even though they look bad.
Orchids with semirigid leaves often have leaves split down the middle from the tip when chronically dehydrated. The other issues could be from leaves scraping on pot edges or media. If it was a bug that chewed it would have been something larger like a grasshopper or large snail.
