To add to what Ray has said, unfortunately, cool-air humidifiers/foggers are just kind of the way to go for homes. Especially if you're aiming for consistent humidity.
It does suck because you have to sift through the plethora of humidifier devices out there to find a decent one, but a good rule of thumb is to try and keep your plants all in once place and then get a humidifier that has decent water capacity so you don't have to refill it constantly.
Some people here on the forums probably have some suggestions for humidifier.
