I was contemplating growing from a flask, but have never done so. I was wondering which Angraecum is harder to grow, Veitchii or sesquipedale? My fiend said eburneum was a little trickier so I am curious which would be easier to start with.
Thanks,
Kelly

The answer completely depends on the growing conditions you can provide. Do some reading and then thinking. Hybrids are often easier to grow and more tolerant of environmental shortcomings. Sesquipedale is not hard to grow if it stays warm.
I might suggest starting with a larger seedling Angraecum, and also a flask of something else that is very easy to grow in your conditions.

100% agree with ES. Angraecums in general grow slooooowly, and the big ones (like sesquipedale and eburneum (and their hybrids) are especially slow. I'd suggest blooming size or near-blooming-size to get flowers in some reasonable number of years.
Thank you so much E S and Roberta. I am currently growing A. Sesquipedale, just wanted to experiment with a Veitchii flaski to see if I could pull it off. I think I will not try this, now.
