Question Are my new Phalaenopsis buds okay? 😥

Hello, I am wondering if it is normal for the buds to look this small. They were only formed a couple of weeks ago, but I don't know how bud forming works..are these going to get bigger? Or do I need to change something?

Photos: Album on Imgur

Care:
Live in hot humid climate, Texas
They receive very bright light for most of the day. (I am not sure the technical candle term, im sorry)
Water 1-2 weekly with reverse osmosis water.
I use reverse osmosis water with a tiny bit of fertilizer every 2 weeks. I think I may not be fertilizing enough?
Temperature is warm 76-78F with slightly cooler nights.
Please share all of your opinions, I want it to be as beautiful as it can be. I am a beginner.

Totally normal! Remember, orchids don't do anything fast. (Those buds may bloom in a month, or might be two) And Phals (orchids in general, actually) use very little fertilizer. You can't accelerate the process, they do what they do when they do it. Do watch the watering... if it is hot you may need to water more often. To keep those buds happy, protect from drafts and keep well away from ripening fruit and/or gas appliances. (Traces of ethylene gas can cause buds to blast) You may want to move it to a bit less light... Phals are low-light plants. But it looks good so far, as long as the light isn't direct you're fine. (If the leaves feel hot to the touch at the brightest time, move it back a bit)
