sunburned tolumnia?
Default sunburned tolumnia?

Hi. I moved this tolumnia to a window and I'm thinking it might be getting too much sun. Its in an eastern window and has become more dark speckled. You can see the difference from one side to the other since i havent spun it around in a while. The side with the new growth faces away from the window. Should I move it away from the window? Is it too much for it? I've had it for a couple months now.

I doubt it's excessive . Eastern is (for us at least) a morning light only exposure.
I have 2 tolumnias in southern exposure. They do fine.

If the plant was in lower light it may develop a red hue as a kind of sunblock when moved to a brighter location. I'd just keep an eye on it. Usually sunburn looks like yellow or whitish patches on the exposed part of the leaves

The pot looks too big to me. These prefer drying out quickly after each watering. If you've been growing it like that for a while, leave it there. If you only recently repotted consider using a pot that just fits the roots.

Plants I've seen have been mounted or on a stick. Quite a variety of colors also to tempt the buyer.
