How to care for keiki grown with cloning hormone
Default How to care for keiki grown with cloning hormone

Hello,

I am new to the group and so happy to be here!
I'm a fairly new to orchid collection. I started over 1 year ago. I research and read as much as I can in order to learn how to care for them properly. I started my first couple of orchids using bark and orchid medium. Not much luck with that. Switched to leca and my 5 plants now are doing very well. Recently, I became a bit curious about cloning hormone and used one of my orchids that was done blooming and used the gel on a spike. Immediatly saw growth. I know that it will be a while before I see roots so I'd like to know how should I care for the new growth in it's early stage. Thanks so much in advance!

Just leave it alone, and take normal care of the parent plant. It will be a long time before it's ready to separate.
