Virus on Catt. percivalian coerulea?

If it were my plant, I would leave it alone and let it grow. Next year, when it is healthy and has likely climbed out of the pot, you can repot it. But now, patience! If it climbs out of the inner pot, it may likely grow some roots into the outer one. Which would be great! Don't try too hard to "control" the plant. Let it do its thing and and get some substance before you go to the next state. Patience and observation go a long way in learning what to do next. Don't try to rush it!

By the way, are those little golden circles at the base of the pseudobulb a problem? They seem to rub off easily. Is it a kind of scale?

Looks like it might be scale. Would do no harm (and might do some good) to spray with Neem oil, or even Bayer's 3-in-1. Definitely keep an eye on that, attack as necessary. Scale LOOOOVES Catts.

I have Neem oil so I will do that right now! Thank you! This is all a big help.
