Default Few questions

The only growth I have is that one at the top

a) what should I do?

b) will it produce base growth? and if not, what will happen to the plant

c)what is that thing below the growth?

Well they could be flower spikes so youll have to wait a week or two more to see. If they are, congratulations!

If they are new growths the best thing to do is lay the bulb down unto the medium so the new leads can root. Its inconvenient but it wont hurt the plant. Your pseudobulb seems very elongated so i also reccommend finding a place with more light for this plant. It will grow shorter stronger and fatter bulbs and it may start growing from the base.

Dont forget to let those growths grow some nice long roots before you start watering!

next to a window and under 40 watts of growlights

the thin part was the growth when i got it

Ok yes thats definitly a growth now that we can see the roots, and if the growth thickened up after you got it then your light is probably fine.
