Default Monnierara vs Catasetum Culture Differences

Someone that knew that I am an orchid nut bought me a "black orchid" as a very sweet gift. A Monnierara Millennium Magic 'Witchcraft.'

Albeit very intriguing, I've always avoided getting this orchid like the plague because it's usually expensive and my understanding is that Mormodes and Cycnoches hybrids can be particularly difficult to grow, whereas a Fredclarkeara would have the Clowesia vigor injected into the hybrid, thus making it easier to grow and bloom.

Taking standard Catasetum culture as reference, what are the cultural differences with Monnierara, if any?

I don't know how the Cycnoches would affect the mix, but I find Catamodes grows for me just as well as Catasetum and Mormodes, same conditions. I don't have this particular hybrid. I am sure that others, with more knowledge than I have, will jump in on this one.
