Terrarium or not to rarium
I am a beginner to orchids, but have been making houseplants happy (mostly) for a long time. I have seven phalaenopsis, a couple of cattleyas, and an amesiella monticola that was given to me by a very generous friend. The Phalaenopsis have been around for a long time and have always bloomed for me in the winter. The others are fairly new and look well, although growing quite slowly. I do not have a fancy glass enclosure as many of you all seem to. But I did come across this cute terrarium, loaded it with things I like, and I am thinking to put the amesiella in it to maintain a high humidity environment with less work. It is currently mounted on a board made of sticks, for lack of a better word. Does this sound like a good idea?
