Hello everyone!
I am a proud new mommy of a miltonia orchid I bought 2 weeks ago. It had a lovely scent when I bought it, after bringing it home it didnt smell so much. Soon after the flowers are drying up and the bloom stalks are pale, I dont know if this is the normal end of the blooming cycle or how long the blooms are supposed to last. Also, if they are truly done how should I trim them or should I leave them on? I know its a lot of questions but am trying to figure this all out. When I brought it home I had it next to the window, perhaps it got too much light or was too cold. Have since moved it to a better location.
Thanks for any help or ideas!
Amelia
Welcome Amelia!!!!
Ray is right, we need more questions answered to determine which you have. I have a miltoniopsis that was marked Milt. when I got it and it's fragrant and looks like a pansy. I keep mine in bright but not direct light. I also keep mine slightly moist. What type medium is it in? Again, welcome!
