Default Miltoniopsis seedling brown and crystallisation

Hi,
Baby miltoniopsis has jd this weird bruised leaf looking area for ages. I can feel sap “crystals” around there too. Growing fast new leaves since I got it, roots looks good. What is it? Was I too rough? Is it fungal? I treat all my plants with fungacinde before I bring them in. Advice appreciated any tips on this plant too. It’s a “golden snows white light”.

I'm only guessing, but I think it's probably mechanical damage at some point in it's youth. I have two young single growth Wilsonara (procured about September) that are just as you say and have this as well. I consider them very healthy.

I wouldn't use prophylactic fungicides. You'll select for resistant organisms. Fungus is rarely an issue in typical homes because humidity isn't that high.

Thanks so much. It’s just new to me (miltoniopsis and this weird reddish crystallised area)!
