Stelis argentata, watering frequency

Hi,
I recently got a stelis argentata and was wondering how often I should be watering. I've been watering when it is still ever so slightly moist or about every 5 or so days as this is what I've found online, but recently a few buds dropped and I'm pretty sure its related to the watering. Would love to hear what others with a bit more knowledge think.

I've never grown it, don't know much about it. From reading care info online my guess would be your humidity isn't high enough. That's a guess, based on reading characterizations of it being a good choice in terrarium culture and preferring high humidity.

Hopefully someone who grows or has grown it can better assist.

I killed it. I think it needs to stay wet, not moist.

I have no experience with Stelis but when visiting Waldor Orchids here in NJ I see them grouped with Restrepia and Masdevallia on a low shelf which stays moist, humid and shady. Lovely plants.
