white stuff on bark?
Default white stuff on bark?



anyone know if whatever this white dotted looking… on some bark media… is safe?

maybe its from one of those white crumbly Perlite medium (third pic)?

Hard to tell for sure, but if you're sure it's not an insect (eg. springtails - harmless), it's probably mineral buildup from evaporation.

The leaves are wrinkled. How are the roots?

before and after pic, before on right.
the right side photo was also during recovery. further action was required. you can see the more wrinkly leaf straightened/flattened out a bit, not completely, but better. loss of leaf below it. probably was waiting to go. it went quickly after my very recent 2nd effort.
