Funny, I bought my GP online (good experience), and because I thought it looked "cute". Going back to the seller, I don't see a lot of information or post-purchase support other than the typical. (Good seller, and I would return. Not a backhanded compliment.) This experience is a good reminder and reinforcement to me (at least) that some research and careful thought should go into my purchases. Less whim and more deliberation. A great lesson for newbies who love everything they see.

No worries, tmoney!
ahhh, well, yes, you don't know me in person! buuut, i totally agree about doing a bit of research before buying. when me and the girl got into orchids we also bought on flower looks and went thru a lot of poor little plants (dracs, and other exoctics we really have no business even trying to grow). it's good to hear about the versatility, and hopefully you can get your going again strong with help from the actual informed growers here!

also interesting to me is how the flowers on this remind me of phal. japonica (formerly siderea japonica). they have a very close look to them in coloration and sorta with flower shape. i dunno, not helpful observations but interesting to me at least! best of luck with yur babe!!
