Greetings. I'm watching my Psychopsis "Three Lip" blooming yet again. It's been sequentially blooming for half a year. The spike is rather long, which seems typical for Psychopsis.
I've a cool clay pot for hanging. It has Psychopsis shaped holes and is currently housing my Rhrds. Bangkok Sunset. I am thinking of moving the Bangkok sunset to a basket and moving a Pyschopsis into the pot.
Here is the concern. The pot is not huge. Also, a 4 foot long spike isn't necessarily so great in a hanging pot.
Which brings me to the question. What are the sizes of the different Psychopsis species? Are there any that bloom when still quite small? I'd easily be able to purchase P. papilio, P. kramerianum, and P. Mariposa. Naturally I can look around for a smaller species if fits the desire for a smaller sized plant.
