Default Cattleya Yellow Spots….sunburn, fungal, bacterial?

Cattleya has some yellowing on leaves and slight indentation where yellow is occurring. Any thoughts on cause? Sunburn? Fungal? Has been under same lighting for ~2 weeks.

That does appear to look like sunburn, but that is an odd pattern for it, unless it was shaded by an object in an unusual way.

I wouldn’t attribute that to any pest or disease, so it might be nothing more that one of those “what the hell?” situations.

Thanks Ray! That makes me feel better. The orchids sit in a west facing window in TX where I keep the blinds shut when the sun begins to crest. They’re under LEDs the rest of the time. If it’s sunburn then it’s probably where a little light was able to peak through the blinds somehow. I’ll rotate and watch!

Also, thanks for the website! I’ve been reading the articles constantly since diving into this venture!
