Hello all. I’ve had this orchid for 2 years. Mistakenly cut back the long “stems” after my cat ate at them. The plant looks lovely and full but it has never bloomed. Will it bloom or did I damage when I cut back?

I don't believe the cutting back will set it back too much, and the bulbs are plump and smooth which indicates it is being watered properly as well. If it has not bloomed in that long, I would think it's not getting enough light. Maxillaria Tenuifolia likes to be in a bright spot, do you have a South facing window you could stick it near?

I've seen photos posted here from people in northern areas who grow them in full sun outdoors. They do like a lot of water. Don't suddenly put yours into full sun; move it gradually so it gets adapted.
