It was different than expected, yet a very fruitful venture. The space was tight, and people were actually running to the back gate from the end of a very long line. Southern courtesies absent, folks were shoving and pushing. However, I enjoyed it very much and will return anytime they show up in close proximity. Prices were phenomenal. selection was good, but I was mostly in it for the cattleyas. I can't speak for other genera. I restrained myself, mostly because my husband had the credit card. I purchased 2 cattleyas (Laelia purpuratas). They are large, healthy plants with multiple leads. I am thrilled with my treasures.
You can check their website and it gives you all the dates, times, locations. I think they have another scheduled in Houston, area...but I’m not sure about Dallas. It was worth the time. Get there early.

I expect the Portland event this weekend to be tight, it appears that it is in a residence based on google maps. I am hoping that getting there at opening on the first day is the right strategy, this is a pretty sleepy town, home depot dead on Saturday mornings
