White egret orchid seeds

Friend sent me some "white egret orchid seeds". He bought them online. I planted them but am skeptical. Orchid seeds are usually like dust. Plants are now 8 " tall and look like Primulas. Any comments?

First, Welcome!

The so-called "orchid seeds" that are sold online are essentially always fake. You are right about orchid seeds being like dust. The "white egret orchid" (Pecteilis/Habenaria radiata) is pretty much always sold as a tuber - which grows in summer and goes dormant in winter.
