Per rbarata's comment, for Ludisia discolor, most commonly sold potting soils will do.

My preferred way of potting in large containers is to fill the container 1/3 with orchid bark, 1/3 with a mix of orchid bark and African violet potting mix, and the top 1/3 all African violet potting mix.
