Thanks very much for the recommendations. The Singolo One is very interesting!
And I agree, they are very beautiful and impressive
I love your website, will be sure to return!

Many of the large white flowered hybrids have Phal amabilis, philippinensis or aphodite in their ancenstry. Selective breeding then helped create Phals with specific traits, such as very large blooms.
Largest Phal (plant size) is Phal gigantea. Individual leaves can grow to be over 25 inches long.
Floriferous species include Phal schilleriana, some stuartiana, equestris (though flowers are sequential and short lived)

Apologies, I thought Phalaenopsis would be the species, and "varieties" would be something like subspecies.
Well I guess flower size with these types of moth/moon orchids really appeals to me most! Amabilis and philippensis sound familiar to me. I have seen these very big flowered white Phals at the local grocery store. They are strikingly large, and I am just curious if any Orchid specialist breeder might have developed something, perhaps rare, and even bigger
Does anyone recommend a particular seller for these kinds of species/hybrids?
