the vanda struggle sigh..........

hey all!
I got my first vanda last year in september. it was doing great at first, it had nice leaf groeth, and had nice root tips. however, now in summer, things have changed. the plant is not dying, but not doing great either. the new leaf is not as long as the older ones. there are no growing tips. to think that it had root tips growing in dead winter but not now worries me a lot.

i think the problem is with the dry heat. i daily soak it in very very dilute fertilizer, for exactly 10 minutes, and also mist the roots, but there is so much i can do.

should i pot it? and if yes, how? will medium like LECA work? not S/H, just plain LECA?
