Hi all!!!
I recently have acquired a phalaenopsis philippinensis. I have always wanted to try semi hydro, so could I put this one in semi hydro?

I would recommend you learn S/H on an inexpensive Phal. hybrid from a big box store.

Any plant can be grown in S/H culture.

That does not mean that any individual can grow any plant that way, as it all depends upon how well the S/H pot environment, your growing conditions and watering habits combine to meet the needs of the plant.

If all three conditions combine favorably, you cannot just move it into S/H culture and let it grow, because it will need to replace its current root system with one suited to the pot environment.
