Should I start to water my catasetum Type orchid?

You're in a tricky spot. I have heat like that, but not yet this year. Sometimes I have waited too long, the roots didn't seem long enough to water, and the plant died.

So I would try the watering methods people above have mentioned. It's better to have a plant with a small growth than one that dies.

okok. i checked today, I can only see ONE root through the side of the pot. all the others are still in the medium. so, maybe i will *just* wait one more week, and then start watering.
