help me save my oncidium

i have an oncidium sharry baby that is really badly shriveled because i accidentally rotted the roots through overwatering(im a begginer =/ ). can anyone help me save it?

Wrebbitrocks - my first thought would be to carefully pull it out of the old medium and remove all the old medium and check roots. Cut off the rotted roots then I would sprinkle reg. cinnamon on the base to stop any rot. I am sure others will have other remedies.
Repot in new medium.

For saving sick plants, I like to pot in sphagnum moss.Dont overpot, just big enough for the plant.Add polystrene, or similar to the pot, at least half fill,then wet some moss, squeeze out excess water, you just want it nicely moist, then subject to what root system you have left, if any repot. It may require either tying to a stake, or wiring through the pot to keep it firm. Orchids root best if they dont wobble about. Its a simple thing to keep the moss just moist, either with a sprayer or small watering can.

roots of my oncidium bush mostly grow out side of the pot . drain water properly .I do not squeeze all the roots into the basket . they grow crazy . I think plants needs lots of room to grow.
