I was gifted an orchid from a friend so am not sure on the species, but have been looking through tons of information for caring for orchids and am just trying to see if I'm on the right track and to get some advice.
I've got one leaf that is progressively yellowing from the tip and am not sure why. A few photos
here. One of my new flower buds seems shrivelled up but the other is still okay? I water it when the roots are a bit more white than in the photos and it sits a few feet away from a south facing window with semi-translucent curtains so it's not in direct sunlight but gets as much sun as we get in a Canadian winter.
Am I watering too often still? Is this normal yellowing for an old leaf or does it look like something specific that I can fix? Any other things I might be doing wrong?
