Happy weekend everyone!
Found these grass like things growing out of the sides of my moss baskets. The moss came with bare roots orchids directly from nursery. The seeds must have been "included" free of charge....
Are they harmful for the orchids?

Mosses collect all sorts of seeds and stems. Anything that is not moss should be removed, in my opinion, as most terrestrial plant roots will grow far and wide in the medium, choking out the orchid roots.

Most likely it will be some type of sedge that grow in bogs.

Not many people collect sedges. You could be in the vanguard of gardeners.
