Leaf will block new spike
Default Leaf will block new spike

Hello, my name is Jim and this is my first post.
I have a small collection of 8 Phalaenopsis on my window sill.
2 of them have spikes growing up and the leaves above them will be blocking their progress upwards.
I’m sure this is discussed elsewhere here, but I couldn’t find it.
What can or should I do?

The spikes will grow toward the light and will find their way around the overhead leaves.

Enjoy!

Welcome to the OB! As Clawhammer said, that's normal, and they will start curving in one direction or another (usually toward the side with more light) as they grow.
