Help with Neostylis!
Default Help with Neostylis!

Hello!
I am planning to get a neostylis lou sneary. what do you guys think about this plant?
I have 2 vandacious orchids. one is a vanda and the other is a Ascocentrum, and I grow both of these bare root and soak on alternate days as they dry out quickly due to my dry weather.
As far as I know, neos and their hybrids need high moisture levels. can anyone tell what to do with them?
should I pot them up?
is semi hydro good for vandas?

Neostylis Lou Sneary was one of the plants I've recommended beginners grow in the past. I still recommend it to beginners.

I've grown them potted before. Quite easy. Had no problems too. Easy, no fuss bloomers.

Grow in clear net pot of appropriate size with large grade bark. Place under moderately bright indirect sun/light. Water when dry.

No need for semi-hydro. I've never been a fan of semi-hydro. I don't generally recommend this method for most orchids.

Temperature tolerant 55 F - 90 F.
