worth noting is that even adding a drop of dishwashing liquid and a teaspoon of sugar in the water can help the orchid absorb more water.
Not that I use those things, don't need em but think of a drop of dishwashing liquid like turning your water into gatorage full of electrolytes.
The soap makes it easier for water to get absorbed or something.
The sugar does the same sugar does in gatorade. The plants absorb them as nutrients.

If I had just 1 plant, I'd be using those, maybe make a tea for the orchid. That is also good against stress for them.

Once you have 100+ orchids is kelpmax worth considering imo.

But you might think why? Isn't the benefit the same? Yes but the benefit is so marginal you wouldn't even notice on one plant and it certainly wouldn't be worth it but thats just from my observations.

No question it works, only question is how much benefit will it deliver? Is one additional root for $40 worth it on a $5 phal?

Not really. And it's not an essential product it needs to thrive but it does help, thats all
