Something strange

It's a new spike, it's too long to be a keiki already.
It also has got the mitten shape but not like you are expecting, if you look really closely you will see the tip is made of two tiny mittens that are right next to each other and probably a couple more even smaller ones starting to develop behind. It's so miniscule you have to use your imagination a bit but I see 2 mittens at the tip.
