Next time, if you are trying to cure don't use fertilizer in the meantime. First need to cure and then when it's stable fertilize.

I'm with ES on this one. Personally I don't believe one can kill an orchid in a week. Takes longer than that for the "process"
Just last week I had my new Cattleya get stuck in the post at 0 degrees for 5 days.

I bought the plant because it was super healthy. Not a blemish on it afte arriving as cold as an ice block.

This one on the other hand belongs on the compost.

I'd be complaining to the seller (even though mine did add a disclaimer that all complaints must be received on the day of arrival otherwise seller would not take responsibility for the care.

I agree with Roberta's thoughts & suggestions about your situation. Temperature and humidity levels (that you mentioned) seem acceptable. Never say never, but I don't think all of those leaf spots, showing up within a week's time, were a result from your end.

You can only hope for the best with it's recovery, albeit it will be a very slow recovery if it does survive. Shadeflower's words also come into play now. Seems like there have been so many name changes in recent years, I'm still not quite sure if the accepted name of Bulbophyllum stramineum has been officially changed to B. cumingii... almost a full time job keeping up with the name games.
I was wrong, and all the black dots on the leaves appeared after 3 days.
I make sure now to check the plant more during the day, of course as I said I pay attention to humidity and temp.
Now the plant has one leaf, and I hope it will survive and develop a new growth over time.
I contacted the seller, he said it was probably because the plant got trauma from the division.
He said he would give me a new healthy plant.
I return to the question for which I did not receive an answer, how many hours under the LED bulb should I give the plant during the day?
Thanks mate.

I'll make sure not to fertilize while watering the plant.
Thanks.

At your latitude 9 to 10 would be a safe bet this time of year. Increase it in the spring to mimic actual sunrise/sunset period.

Sounds like your seller is fair and square (or, in my neck of the woods, "good people"). Glad to hear it all worked out for you.

As to your specific question... the only answer I can provide (to you) is based on what works for *me* (when growing Bulbophyllum indoors under artificial light)... photoperiod around 10 hours a day, year round.
