I agree the thread is getting a bit off topic and veering off to the topic of kelpak/kelpmax again, and we don't need to have this discussion so frequently.
Roberta, thanks for bringing up the sugar solution suggestion, I recall having read about it before but couldn't remember the instructions.

To give credit... the notes on rehydrating desiccated plants came from Mary Gerritsen. (She sent them as a document when forwarding some plants from China, took me a bit of time to find the email) Definitely an authoritative source.

Sade, it's probably only 6 days left which is far too little time so buy them a spray bottle. Tell them to give it one squirt a day or 7 squirts once a week.
Probably the best thing you can do for these phals.
I can understand why caring for just one is hard. The only reason I give mine so much attention is because I have lots. With just one orchid it's easiest to just stick it under the tap once a week but then its easily forgotten about too. I find having a spray bottle handy encourages me to keep up watering so might help them too.

If the plants can be kept in a very high-humidity environment, the same thing can be accomplished. This might be useful if that's not possible.

OMG...I never hear this before. Sound so write to recovery dryness...
I am telling you... There is always new to learn about of a simple practice in this hobby 🐱

What the recipe with the fulvic acid; amounts and treatment ?.

A suggestion for hydrating these bare-root desiccated imported plants that is even simpler, is a soak in a sugar-water solution... The sugar may be a little carbohydrate boost, or maybe shift the osmotic pressure to facilitate absorption of water I don't know. But for what it is worth (might be applicable here), here are the instructions:
"1. Make up a solution of sugar water, room temperature. This is 1 to 2 teaspoon of table sugar per gallon of water. (4-8 g to about 4 L)
2. Remove the packing from your orchid, and place the roots (not stem or leaves) into the sugar water solution. If you have more than one plant, prepare a different solution for each plant and soak them in separate containers.
3. Let the plants soak for 1 to 3 hrs in the sugar water solution.
4. Remove the plant from the solution and wash the roots off with more water (without sugar). Gently pat dry with a paper towel"

Woooow I'll do this first thing tomorrow, so excited to try this recipe!!
Yahooooo!

The challenge is to hydrate the leaves and get at least 1 new root in 1 week or at most in 10 days, using a different technique for each one and see what has worked better.

If my parents had been that demanding I doubt I would have cooperated. Particularly if they tried stuffing me with weird drugs.

Come on ES, these are plants; nature and N:1 test for learning... I am sure they are going to do well anyway, sooner or later and not be traumatized

True - the usage of a suitable anti-transpirant is sometimes associated with people doing de-flasking too.
