Snails in Oncidium

I found snails in my Oncidium. Not sure what type but does anyone know how to treat it? Will repotting the orchid and then spraying the roots with Hydrogen peroxide help? I’ve seen mixed opinions about hydrogen peroxide so I’m not sure if it will be effective.

Water with an expresso (coffee) diluted in half a liter of water.

Yes, caffeine kills snails. If you don't have an espresso maker use very strong coffee. Let it cool. Water the plant thoroughly with plain water so the roots are soaked. Then water thoroughly with the cooled coffee. Wait an hour and water with plain water to rinse out the coffee.

A few people on OB have reported root damage with coffee, which is why I'm suggesting prewatering and rinsing.

How much coffee should I use if I dilute with 1/2 liter of water? 1/2 liter of coffee?

I've used it with good results diluting an expresso (30 ml) in 1/2 l water.
