Another psudobulb question

That looks good to me. Cyms tend to bloom best about the time they are breaking the pot. This one will do fine. They actually do best on the rootbound side. When you do repot, you want a pot that will accommodate no more than about 2 years' growth. (Don't over-do it). These early-blooming Cyms will be ready to repot toward the end of January, or into February (once nights start to warm up a bit). No rush.

It's tempting to buy Cyms in bud. I think they are highly prone to bud blast when moved from one set of conditions to another, perhaps more so than most other orchids. I would suggest buying in tight spike or with opened flowers, unless you can immediately put them into a cool, humid brightly-lit situation. Very few homes match that description.

I also find it interesting that genetically tough (roots) plant actually can be more vulnerable to bud blast. I wonder why?

In your third picture ----- is that a case of more than just dark spots? It's along the lines of dark patches?

I certainly see spotting on my one and only zygo, which I bought from ebay - and had started with one bunch of leaves. But it sprouted a second batch of leaves. Growing nicely in scoria. In this pic --- spots on leave can be seen. Although, they're not like dark patches that cover a significant portion of a leaf.

I am still keeping a watch on that foliage. Not sure how it is going to turn out yet. But yes the dark patches are more extensive than yours. Its flowers are beautiful though!
